Larry Brock has been a board member of CABLC since the fall of 2015. He is employed by the Ministry of the Attorney General as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Brantford. He has held that position since 2004 having been a lawyer for almost 25 years. He is married and the father of twin girls. Born and raised in Brantford, Larry prides himself on community engagement and is currently serving on a number of boards. He is active with the Brant United Way having served as their Chair for the 2015 campaign. Larry firmly believes in the worth of every citizen in this great city and wants to see the participants at CABLC reach their full potential.
Justin joined Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre board of directors in October 2015. He comes to the organization with a strong background in volunteer work with the United Way, Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and 100 Men Who Give a Damn. CABLC has a strong connection with Justin who grew up with an aunt that had Down's Syndrome.
Justin is an Associate Manager, Marketing Commercialization with S.C. Johnson and Son, Inc. and has an MBA with a double major in Strategic Marketing and Management of Innovation and New Technology from McMaster University. In his spare time, Justin enjoys spending time at his cottage, travelling, and everything to do with Toronto sports and the NFL.
Jason joined Millards full time in November of 2012 as a senior accountant. Prior to joining Millards Jason worked in the corporate tax department of a national manufacturer and distributor of household kitchen and laundry appliances. Jason obtained his Certified Management Accountant designation in 2011. He is also currently completing the CPA In-Depth Tax Course. Jason is seen a trusted advisor by his clients, and is often the first point of contact in their decision making process.
Jason specializes in providing tax and accounting services to both large and small business, personal tax planning services, and estate and succession planning.
In addition to his professional commitments, Jason is a volunteer board member for Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre, Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, and Swim Ontario. Jason resides in Brantford with his wife and two children.
Patti Latty is the proud mother of two sons; one being Matthew who has a developmental delay. Patti worked for JAN Marketing for over 17 years; the Brant County Health Unit as a Family Home Visitor; and owned her own business. Patti has volunteered for 11 years at the Brantford General Hospital, and was a member of the Lansdowne Children’s Centre Board. She has a passion for helping others, especially those with special needs. Patti is grateful for the excellent day program that CAB provides for Matthew. Matthew enjoys socializing with his friends at the Centre, as well as the many learning opportunities provided by the wonderful, caring staff. Patti looks forward to help shape the future of Crossing All Bridges.
Pat Fergus is senior executive with extensive expertise in leadership, marketing, merchandising, sales training and account development which she acquired while working at S.C. Johnson, Obusforme, Breville and Vanhof & Blokker. Throughout her career she has achieved excellent results in portfolio growth while successfully developing strong brand relationships. Pat has assisted with the selection, training and development of outstanding marketing and sales teams and has experience in leading cross-functional project teams with the mandate to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs. Pat and her husband Dan live in Cambridge and enjoy spending time with their three children and their spouses. Their two grandbabies also keep them very busy.
Lorraine Hagan joined the CABLC Board in November of 2016. Lorraine states that the highlight of her career has been “working in the community helping people.” Lorraine proudly built the Volunteer Visiting Program for the Victorian Order of Nurses, a program that provided palliative care support as well as volunteers spending time with the socially isolated in our community. She also oversaw the Public Relations and Marketing for branch programs and services.
While working as the Branch Coordinator for the Canadian Diabetes Association, she provided community education and support to people living with diabetes. Fundraising to support the branch programs was a major focus, requiring a great deal of special event planning. Training and working with volunteers was a career highlight. We’re thrilled to welcome Lorraine to the Board where she can share her passion and talents.
Three children and six grandchildren keeps life special. Lorraine likes to travel, entertain and enjoys spending time with friends.
Lori Hanna was elected to the expanding CABLC Board in November of 2016. She is the proud mother of 2 grown boys, one of whom is autistic and attends the Centre. Lori currently works locally as a full time real estate agent. In her former career in pharmacy, Lori was involved with many homes in and around Brantford serving the adult disability community. Lori is very excited about the future of Crossing All Bridges and all it holds for her son and all of the current and future participants.
Neil has been on the Board of Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre for 3 years and is currently serving a term as Chair of the Board.
Neil joined the Board as a way of giving back to the community. He was Head of the History Department at Brantford Collegiate Institute and Vocational School for many years. He and his wife, Nadene, operated farms in Onondaga and Binbrook. Their children all learned the skills of hard work.
Neil has been a member of Lions International for 45 years. He has supported several other Boards including Acting Chair of Contact Brant.
