Engaging in a Lifetime of Learning
Programs › Computers
Computers is a technological based program and is designed to integrate participants in 21st century communication skills. The fundamental purpose of the computer program is to provide participants with knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to achieve success in volunteer positions, the workplace, and daily life.
Technology provides the opportunity to reinforce active thinking, making choices, and executing all the skills that are learned throughout the other CABLC programs. Technology is also a necessary tool for many participants who rely on alternative methods to communicate. Learning how to communicate through technology allows participants a medium to express themselves and become an active part of the community.
