Programs › Money Management

Money Management activities affect the daily lives of all Canadians as they work, spend, save, invest, travel, and play. Our participants must be prepared to engage in business activity with a sense of confidence and competence.

Participants need to understand how money functions, the role money plays in society, the skills required to manage money, and the impact it can have on their own lives.  It will also provide practical skills for those who wish to move directly into the workplace. Our program includes essential mathematical knowledge and skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, budgeting, making purchases, banking, reasoning, problem solving, and communication.  Most importantly participants develop the initiative to continue learning on their own.
