You’ll never be bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do. ~ Dr. Seuss
We love to give back to our community at CABLC and we love to teach the joy of giving to our participants. From setting up for Canada Day festivities to helping prepare food for an elementary school breakfast program, volunteering in the community is a great way to allow our participants to apply the skills they learn at the Centre.
Taking part in volunteer initiatives helps our participants to become more aware of their neighbourhood, develops positive relationships with people outside of the Centre and instills a great sense of pride in helping others.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- City of Brantford Canada Day Celebrations
- Participation House Putt 4 Me
- Brant United Way
- Random Act of Kindness
- Heart and Stroke Foundation Big Bike Ride
