Gaining Opportunities and Life Skills

Life Skills is a theme that threads through all of our programming at Crossing All Bridges. In the G.O.A.L.S. program, while operating our daily in-house Tuck Shop, participants gain opportunities to learn and practice skills related to money management, customer service, computer literacy, and communication skills. We also practice theses skills at our weekly coffee kiosk located at the Brantford Police Station.

The G.O.A.L.S. program also emphasizes the importance of appropriate social skills and healthy relationships, exploring topics such as: stress and anxiety management; emotional regulation; self-expression and personal safety. These skills become transferable not only to the home environment but also to the workplace.
